We provide services to universities, medical centers, hospitals, other laboratories and obstetricians throughout the United States and internationally. Our research goals include the discovery and development of new bio-markers of Down syndrome, trisomy 18 and open neural tube defects. We have been leaders in the field of prenatal screening since the mid 1970's and publish extensively in peer reviewed medical and genetics journals. Supervise research activities of laboratory technicians. Specific Duties: Perform literature searches, devise experimental strategies, execute bench level experiments, and publish results. Training: Training on all current in-house assay procedures will be provided. Qualifications: Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, clinical chemistry or related area.
