The Mission of the Clinical Ligand Assay Society:
New England Chapter is
- To provide the best educational events
in the ligand field.
- To provide several networking opportunities
during the year.
- To work directly with other societies
and organizations in planning educational events.

meeting. New England members may attend

Join more than 200 professionals in the field of ligand technology
as a member of the Clinical Ligand Assay Society. As a
member, you will stay up-to-date on the latest scientific and
technical information with an individual subscription to the Journal
of Ligand Assay and CLASNewsletter.
Members will also receive discounted registration to CLAS
National Meeting, Regional Meeting
in their area and other CLAS Benefits.
Specific goals of CLAS include:
Maintenance of an organization concerned with the
diagnostic, therapeutic and investigative use of ligand assays and
related methods.
Improvement of the standards of ligand assay methods
by promoting education, encouraging basic and clinical research
and advancing the practice of ligand assay as applied to clinical
laboratory diagnosis; biochemical research; diagnosis and therapy
in veterinary sciences; applications in agricultural, environmental
and industrial sciences.
Sponsoring of regional, national, and international meetings,
scientific symposia, review courses, certification
programs, workshops and publications to increase knowledge of
ligand assay technology and its development and application.
Promotion of cooperation and mutual consultation
among members working in laboratories, clinics, hospitals, educational
institutions and industry.
The Clinical Ligand Assay Society welcomes applications
from ligand assay professionals, post-doctoral researchers, graduate
students, and undergraduate students. Prospective applicants are
encouraged to contact a member of a chapter
near them before applying.
